TV Ministry Tips

Is part of your Vision to Spread the Gospel on the TV airwaves?

If so, I know it can seem to be an almost insurmountable challenge when you think about the cost of technology. But, that’s why I’m here to give you some valuable insider tips on How to Begin a Quality TV Broadcast without Bursting Your Budget.

On this tv ministry tips blog, I will tell you some of the trade secrets I have learned throughout my 17 years in the television industry. But more specifically, I will give you a true glimpse at how to start your ministry media broadcast without bursting your budget. I will start by using excerpts from my FREE ebook, THE ABC’s OF BROADCAST TV: How To Begin a Quality TV Broadcast Without Bursting Your Budget

I. Know Your Pre-Budget

After you have prayerfully considered TV outreach as a viable mode of evangelism for you and your ministry and you know without a doubt God is impressing on you to move forward, it is now time to move to the first basic step PRE-BUDGET!

It is always best to know how many discretionary funds you have available to use, in order to move forward as you begin the due diligence process. No matter how small or large you think that number is, it’s always best to go into the situation knowing without a doubt, how much you can definitely count on to be available for this new multimedia outreach investment. By having a pre-budget amount in place, it will make it a lot easier to determine, how you will get from point A-Z on your broadcast journey.

For instance: One young pastor I’ve consulted with in Texas, knows that he wants to spread the gospel on TV. He found out that he can go on public access FREE. However, he knew he didn’t want to go on public access at the same quality of all the other programs. But he also thought he couldn’t afford to invest in everything he needed, in order to reach that next level of quality.

Amazingly enough, after doing some research, he found that the public access station actually “loans” industry standard video recording equipment to those who use the station’s airwaves. With that in mind, this young pastor knew that was one expense that was already “erased” giving him the ability to stretch his small pre-budget number longer and now capitalize on figuring out a way to use that pre-budget amount to find affordable options for a professional show open, close and graphics, without bursting his budget!
